Today Is the Last day, upgrade to Windows 10 for free

The time is ticking, today is last day for windows 7,8.1 user to upgrade their operating system  to windows 10.
microsoft have been trying hard to make users switch to the new OS by making it free to download after it was release a year ago.

Friday,july 29 will be the last day for the free update which after that you will have to shell out $119 to get the regular windows 10 upgrade and $199 for the the pro version.

Your device must meet the minimum requirements which are :

1. Your device must run on the Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1.

2. 1GHz CPU, 1GB (32-bit) or 2GB of RAM (64-bit), 16GB (32-bit) or 20GB of open hard drive space (64-bit) and a DirectX 9-capable video card with WDDM driver.

 3. You must be running on the latest update, for windows 7 go to start >> control panel >> system and security >> windows update. 
In case you're running the windows 8 or windows 8.1 operating system, go to start >> PC settings >> update and recovery update >> windows update. 
Make sure you back up your computer before carrying on with the process. 

How to upgrade to windows 10 
1. Go to windows 10 download page and click on the upgrade now button at the top.

2. Double click on the windows download client to run  it. A UAC will pop up asking if you want to make changes to your Computer, click on OK to proceed.

3. The client will start downloading and walk you through the process, this could take up to one hour and your PC restarting severally. 
Make sure you connect your AC adapter to the wall socket to avoid backup interrupting the process. 

Viloa, you're now running the windows 10 operating system, if you find it too complicated or don't like the windows 10,you have a 30days to return back to your previous windows.
