You don't need to opt-in or subscribe to any package before you can enjoy  free data day, all you have to do is use N250 or more on voice calls or use at least N150 or more on voice calls and minimum of 100MB on data preceeding seven days before the award for free data.

You can now start sharing your data plan to your friends, family and love ones. 

However, if you noticed your data reduce rapidly it expires before the expiring date even though you didn't download much. 

Sometimes, a friend might decide to share your Glo data subscription without your knowledge, you can decide to check if anyone is on your data share list by dialing   *127*00#.
