As a Samsung device owner you may want to flash your phone or upgrade it due to some reasons, I'll be showing you how to flash, upgrade or unbrick your Samsung phone using ODIN
NOTE : Follow the instructions carefully to avoid any damage.
Download and install Samsung USB driver on your computer Here
Download ODIN software Here
Download Samsung ROMs Here
Launch ODIN and tick Auto reboot and F.reset
Put your device in download mode by pressing the volume down button + home button + power button.
Press volume up to enter ODIN mode on the screen that shows yellow triangle, and connect the device to the computer.
Device successfully connected will be shown.
Click on AP for the new version of ODIN or PDA for the older version, click on the folder that contains the rom of the device you want to flash or upgrade, select the rom.
Note : ROMs name always end with .tar or .md5
Wait for the application to process the rom, the flashing, upgrade or unbrick process will begin, a green progression process will been shown at the top left.
It will take up about 5-8mins to finish the process depending on the size of the rom,
If the process is successful, you will see PASS! at the top of the ODIN GUI
The device will reboot, the first reboot always take time, be patient and don't be scared.
Do a factory reset if it bootloops by pressing the volume up button + home button +power button.
Select factory reset and scroll to yes.
