Split screen function gives users the privilege to split their device screen into two to enable them run two apps on the same screen simultaneously. The feature was introduced on Android 7.0 and is available on any device running the operating system.
The split screen is one of the features added to the recently release update of nougat 7.0 on infinix device like infinix zero 4, infinix note 3,infinix hot 4, and their newly launched infinix note 4.
A lot of infinix users haven updated their device to the latest nougat 7.0 don't really know how to enable the split screen function on their device, this post is going to put you through on the necessary steps you need to take in other to make it work.
Enable split screen on infinix nougat 7.0
Step 1. Open and minimise the two apps you want to run on split screen
Step 2. Now click on the menu button on hold down the app you want to use in split screen mode, you will see “Drag here to split screen” at the top of the screen. Drag and drop the app there.
Step 3. Once you drag and drop the first app, select the second app,it will be under the first app, making both apps to appear on same screen with one at the top or beside each other when on landscape mode.
Also note that, not all apps support split screen mode. In other to identify apps that can't run on split screen mode, open and minimise the app you want to run, click on the multi-tasking button, and hold the app as if you want to drag it, you will see “App doesn’t support split screen” at the top of the screen.

You can resize the app to any shape you want by dragging the black bar with white strip at the centre , apart from this you can also use the split screen mode in landscape mode by enabling the auto-rotation in your phone drop down menu.
When you click the home button, it will take you to the phone menu, to return back to split screen mode simply tap the menu button and it will take you back to split screen.
Quit split screen mode on infinix phone
To quit split screen mode, hold and drag down any of the app you want to close at the black bar with white strip at the centre to the bottom or top your device.
This will eliminate the app and return you to normal mode.
