An infrared blaster which is also called IR blaster is a device that accept input from your remote and communicate or blast via infrared to any device that is infrared enabled. 

We  are all familiar with the TV, Air-conditioned, radio and DVD remotes that enables us to do whatever we want with the device without touching it directly. 

Recently some smartphone comes embedded with this features, since users are always with their phones, the thought of looking for your remotes where you keep it or operating more than three remotes have reduce or eliminated through the introduction of this features.

Infrared blaster is one of the amazing features in a smartphone,you don't really need to buy a new smartphone if it didn't come with IR blaster, you can get a device called dongle, all you have to do is get the device and plug it in your headphone  3.5mm jack port to give it the infrared functionality, and if you really want to upgrade your phone to something better and also comes with the IR blaster features, you can choose from the above listed devices.
